I have been looking forward to this wedding for months. Fellow photographer, Heidi Ryder contacted me almost a year ago about her best friend’s wedding. Heidi was going to be a bridesmaid and needed to find a photographer for Kim and Johnny. I was both flattered and intimidated by the task.
Kim and Johnny are straight awesome. Not only is Johnny from Scotland, which is so close to Ireland it makes him cool just by proximity, but he’s got all the tattoos that I would have if I were inclined to have tattoos. And Kim is indescribably nice. Their friends hooked them up. At the wedding, they were quick to take credit for the meeting of Kim and Johnny’s destinies.
The wedding at the First Congregational Church of Anaheim was beautiful, and the reception was a blast. The Landmark Events Center catered the reception, and eminent John Lippert of Stunerone Productions kept the night hoppin’ as the evening’s DJ.
Thanks to Michele Schanker for shooting with me this weekend!
This was amusing. And there was more of it, too.
