Sometimes I think I have the best looking photography blog in the Inland Empire just because I put the Treurs up there so often. Genevieve turned one this month, so of course we had to get some photos. But I had to shoot quick because she did not like to stand still.

Just to give you an idea of how much catching up I have to do on the blog, today’s post is about our little bean, Madelyn. She turned one at the end of November and we went out and got some very cool photos in Oak Glen and then threw a party for her with lots of cake to eat/wear.

Since Julie’s new sweet camera hadn’t arrived yet, she asked me to take a few photos of Eva’s birthday party at the DeKocks. We had a great time.

Eva got totally blitzed!

Then she took off all her clothes and jumped in the pool.

Her dad got tackled into the pool (fully clothed) by Kyle, and then posed for a few “bring-on-the-sexy” shots.

The rest of the party was pretty routine.

Eva gave a speech about the ongoing California budget stalemate.

And then buckled under the pressure of entertaining.

Eva’s friends were serious party animals.
