Tim and Courtney – Married (Round 2)
Friday, July 13th, 2012
Most guys like to plan. Even the guys who don’t like to plan probably plan their engagement story. And everything would always go according to plan, if only there wasn’t another person involved.
Tim planned to ask Courtney to marry him on a hiking trip at Joshua Tree. They had a great day and it was time for Tim to set the final stages of his plan into motion.
As they were sitting in the car watching the sun set and reading Louis Lamore (probably not a usual suspect in engagement stories), Tim suggested they get out of the car.
“But it’s cold out there,” said Courtney. “I don’t wanna get out of the car.”
Convincing someone that they should just go along with the plan is harder when you can’t tell them what the plan is. But in the end, here’s where they ended up. Such a great day.

Tim and Courtney Engagement Shoot
Tuesday, June 12th, 2012
This was a fun engagement shoot (and later an even more fun wedding). Tim and Courtney are like two peas in a pod when they’re together. They laugh a lot, hold hands a lot, and seem to have no problem staring into each other’s eyes for long periods of time – perfect for an engagement shoot!

Scott and Melanie: A Retail Love Story
Saturday, December 31st, 2011
Scott and Melanie met on the job. Scott hired Melanie to work in a store he manages, and from then on they were on a path to forever. Melanie is an artist and a teacher at Ontario Christian Schools. She has organized more than one Beautiful Art Exhibit with proceeds going to orphanages in Africa. Scott has dreams of running a recording studio and recently put together his own extended play album.
We had cloudy conditions and a little bit of drizzling rain, but we made the best of the photo shoot – had a picnic even – and got some great photos in Redlands. This was their engagement shoot. They will be getting married in a few months, and I’m pumped to be their wedding photographer.
