Sea World

Thursday, January 31st, 2013

I have no idea what happened to her head, so don’t ask. We sure had a good time at Sea World. They all loved the snow (fake as it was). I absolutely love the look on Maddie’s face as she is sledding. I wonder what she would think of sledding if she were on a real hill.

As I look through these photos after months of not seeing them I’m sure there were moments of extreme frustration, crabbiness, and exhaustion on that trip to Seaworld. But I don’t remember them. Family is a good thing. Maybe the best of things.

Tessa and Tea

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013

It’s fun to pretend. Pretend tea party friends always play by your rules. They never get bored from your stories, and they will never tell you they’d rather play with someone else that day. Thanks Mr. Elephant for sitting so still during our photoshoot.

The DeWaard Family

Saturday, September 22nd, 2012

Nothing better than Oak Glen and photography in the Fall. We are lucky to be friends with these guys. They help us with Christmas lights, help us get dirt for a garden, they loan us the Mary Poppins movie, and they let us feed their chickens when they’re out of town. Everyone should have friends like these guys.
