Tori – REV Class of 2011

Tori has a kind heart and an easy smile. I like her, because she once said I looked like Spiderman – after he got bit by the spider and was all buff and everything, not the nerdy Peter Parker who doesn’t have anyone to sit with at lunch… I think. On top of that, Jill and I love her parents. I like to think that we are in a band with Tori’s dad, even though we only play about every third year. Still, we’re in a band.
We had great light for our shoot, and even a little drama. First, Tori got locked out of her car. Then the sheriff came and kicked us off our first location because we had hopped a fence to get there. In the end, we got some great photos.

Mike and Jennifer – Married on New Year’s Eve

What a way to bring in the New Year! Mike and Jennifer were married on the last night of 2010. Their engagement evening didn’t go quite as Mike had planned – a quiet sunset alone overlooking Redlands. There were people everywhere in Prospect Park. Each time Mike thought they’d found a secluded place where he could break out the champagne and pop the question, he was thwarted by others enjoying the same Southern California evening. After several interrupted attempts, Mike thought he’d lost his chance and he bagged the idea of proposing for the time being, at least, until after dinner when he pulled out the ring and asked Jennifer to marry him under a starry sky.
Their wedding was intimate and beautiful. It was held in a small chapel at Edwards mansion in Redlands. I was so glad to be part of it. It was a great way to party into 2011!
