The Nielson Family

They hadn’t taken professional photos since their wedding fourteen years ago! So I was honored to get the call to schedule a family shoot with the Nielsons. We had a great time walking around the park. I had no idea what a riot these guys are. Photo shoots tend to bring out the crazy in people, I think. Thanks Nielsons!

There was a fire in Riverside that night. The ash thrown into the air can make for a great sunset.

Goodbye Penns

The months have gone by too fast. We loved having the Penns out in SoCal for the year. It was really great to have a piece of my family (and the childhood memories that come with family) here in California with us. To cap off their time here in the golden state, we went to the beach for a day of photography and fun. We’ll miss you guys!

ACA Class of 2010 – Jessica

I was very excited to hear that Jessica wanted to do a senior portrait session. I think it’s a great time of life to capture through photography. We had a blast shooting near one of the many antique shops in Beaumont and then we found a great spot under the freeway. Jessica knew what she was doing in front of the camera and was incredibly easy to photograph. Her friend, Carissa tagged along to get some shots together as  bonus, which I always welcome. Thanks, Jessica! Good luck this year!
