The DeWeerds

If I haven’t mentioned it before, I really love photography. Not only for the artistic satisfaction it gives me, but also because I get to work with great people. The families that have called on us to take family portraits or photos of their children are some of our favorite people in the world. We count ourselves lucky to have a way to hang out with cool people all the time.
The DeWeerds fall into this cool people category. We worked pretty hard, as you can see, to get a photo of all four of them. There were a lot of out-takes. But we got it, and we got a lot of other great portraits too.
He’s on an organic diet.

Beautiful Run for Africa in Redlands

From my vantage point, the morning could not have gone better. The weather was perfect, the volunteers were cheerful, and the runners were excited to be doing something they love for something they believe in. The Beautiful Run in Redlands on Saturday was a lot of fun to be part of. As you can see by the photos, everyone had a great time. Great job Brenda and all of the other folks who worked hard to put together a first class event for Beautiful Africa.

The run brought out the inner-comedian in many of the participants.
The Jeff Mercer Band rocked the early morning hours for everyone.
