Greg and Liz | The Wedding
Friday, July 31st, 2009
This was an epic wedding. Not only was it awesome that these two are friends of ours, but I got to fly out to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the wedding. As much as I like to make fun of all of my friends from Grand Rapids, I really enjoyed seeing their home territory. I even got a tour (via cell phone) between the wedding and the reception from Grand Rapids’ own Mark Witvliet. I am a little bummed that I didn’t get to see John Calvin’s College. Some of our other friends from Grand Rapids will have to get married next summer.
Greg and Liz are awesome together. I think Greg would do anything for Liz. We had a blast together during their engagement session. They planned an incredible wedding day. There’s nothing better than to be surrounded by your friends and family on such a great day.
Liz was gorgeous.
Greg’s not bad.
This was a great first look moment!
Greg’s best man was his twin brother, who was cool enough to lend me his Jeep for the weekend.
More from the ceremony and reception next.

Golf Mayhem – Day 2 Scores
Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009
DeDoes wins the 2-day tournament and DeBo closes the day in the lead. After three rounds of Mayhem, DeBo is ahead of the pack followed closely by Father and Son Hartog.
For those of you who are not familiar with Golf Mayhem, especially any of you photographers who read the blog occasionally, Golf Mayhem is an annual 3-day golf tournament that was founded by a group of teachers (including The Muscle) more than a decade ago. The participants usually have some connection with Redlands Christian School in Redlands, CA. I’ve been able to participate for the last 5-6 years although I’ve never been in striking distance of a win.
Mark Leonard Imaging would like to thank The Muscle for starting the tourney, and also Wit and Jeffrey for co-chairing this year’s event.
