Another sneak peak because well, that’s all I got
Wednesday, March 25th, 2009
I feel very badly that I’m behind on processing these guys’ photos. I’m so sorry Alyssa and Jay. I’ve got three final exams tomorrow night and with the new kid, sleep is at a premium. (I can see Jill’s eyes rolling. She is actually the one losing most of the sleep, but I like to try to get sympathy where I can.)
After exams, I’m all over this session like pastels on Don Johnson.

Solo Session – Brenda
Wednesday, March 18th, 2009
Lesotho, Africa is a little country that lies in the center of South Africa. 45% of the population is unemployed and 36% live on less than $1 a day. There are people in Lesotho who have devoted their lives to proving that God exists by caring for suffering people, especially children. Our church discovered some of those people several years ago and adopted their mission to glorify God by caring for orphans at the Beautiful Gate orphanage.
Brenda recently returned from Lesotho after spending a year at Beautiful Gate caring for children and using her administrative talents to help the leaders of the orphanage strengthen their organization and prepare for the future. Now that she’s back in the states, she’s working for a handful of mission oriented organizations and needed some portraits for publications, websites, and whatnot. We had a great time roaming around Redlands. If you’re ever in need of a Redlands historian and tour guide, you could do a lot worse than Brenda.
